Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council is a girl-led youth organization that serves girls throughout southern Idaho and in parts of Northern Nevada and Eastern Oregon. The council, along with a team of local volunteers, delivers educational and leadership programs that build girls of courage, confidence, and character who positively impact the communities in which they live.

Girl Scout programs promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills and applied learning through an inquiry-based learning environment that helps girls explore passions and develop new interests. Programs are available year-round including after-school and weekends. Financial assistance is easily accessible to those who need it.

An essential component of Girl Scouting is community service. Girls choose, manage, and participate in community service projects that benefit thousands of local families and individuals who are underprivileged, homeless, hungry, sick and/or disabled. Last year, Girl Scouts of Silver Sage performed more than 270,000 hours of community service.
