We provide a curriculum based program that teaching hope, confidence, resilience through class time but them we take what is taught and apply it through equestrian training. We also have a service arm of the program that also teaches a feeling of giving back to their community and others. This is a 14-week program that starts in June and ends in September due to the weather in Idaho. Curriculum teaching, horse time that includes grooming, safety, ground skills, and eventually riding, plus the other facets of learning how to care for themselves and their horse help them to learn confidence to handle difficult life situations as they come up. The program also includes a professional photo shoot to make them feel valued and we have an advancement night where we celebrate their accomplishments throughout the program and make them feel special for their advancements whether they are small or big. We celebrate even the smallest advancements as we recognize that just being there, is a huge accomplishment.
