For You Network, Inc. is a resource center that brings awareness and accessibility to programs and services in the Treasure Valley working to reduce violence and heal trauma. Our organization coordinates family-oriented resources for the young, old, and under-served people in our community and hosts life-changing events (like KYMfest!), trauma support groups and seminars. We help inform, connect and empower people to seek healing over hurting and kindness over violence by providing opportunities to “kind your mind”. KindYourMind is the motto at the heart of our mission. It means to shift toward kindness and compassion for yourself and others when going through trials and away from the judgment, shame and blame we often let hinder our growth. It is about being mindful of our actions, thoughts and words and choosing non-violence as a way of life. Our center revolves around providing people an opportunity to experience the different avenues to healing dependent on their personal situation. When people are connected to love and support in adverse situations, we gain unity and move away from the stigmas around seeking help. We are in the process of building our website (www.foryounetwork.org, coming June ‘21) that will include a directory of our partner resources, events calendar and announcements and community highlights.
