The Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance, established in 2002, is an all volunteer group, dedicated to getting more people on bikes, safely. We educate all kinds of riders on how to use a bicycle for fun, transportation, and recreation, with confidence. We hold Boise Bike Week every year during the spring to celebrate the great biking opportunities and groups around the Treasure Valley. We support different projects and groups around the valley that increase overall safety and access to safe cycling. Previous donations include bike lights for Boise Police Department, educational flash cards and helmets for Treasure Valley Safe Routes to School, funding to assist in paving western sections of the Boise River Greenbelt, placement of air and repair stations on the Greenbelt, and on bike education classes around the region.
