Companions Animal Center, formerly known as Kootenai Humane Society, has been dedicated to saving the lives of animals since 1979. For decades, we have carried out our life-saving mission by providing a safe haven for homeless and unwanted animals in our community and beyond.

In 2003, we proudly embraced the No-Kill Philosophy, ensuring that every animal entering the Center is given a second chance at a happy and healthy life.

Thanks to the generosity of compassionate individuals, Companions Animal Center continues to care for animals in need and help them find loving forever homes.
