I offer a unique blend of nonprofit and governance expertise, as well as experience in asset building programs for low and moderate income populations. For 16 years I was the founding executive director of a regional asset building organization in Idaho focusing on workforce development, financial education and empowerment, and minority small business development--in essence community and economic development. My passion is working with nonprofits through strategic planning, management issues, governance issues, proposal writing and innovation. I am a Licensed Consultant with the National Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector, and I'm a Certified Governance Trainer through BoardSource. My nonprofit specialties include board governance, board roles and responsibilities, compliance, board building and structure, board/staff partnerships and more. My asset building specialties include CDFIs, workforce development and career ladder programs, financial education programs including coaching, counseling and credit building. I have a passion for coaching, mentoring and building capacity for nonprofit CEOs and the organizations they serve.
