About us

The Pulaski Users Group, commonly referred to as PUG, is a central Idaho based nonprofit devoted to community stewardship of public lands. The Pulaski Users Group (PUG) organizes volunteer trips focused on trail maintenance, trail reclamation, and invasive species monitoring. Volunteers receive related training which equips them with the skills and knowledge to complete a variety of trail restoration projects. We aim to inspire community members to be stewards and advocates for our public lands.

Please join us for National Trails Day (NTD). The American Hiking Society designated the first Saturday in June as a day of public events aimed at advocacy and trail service. The Pulaski Users Group and the Wood River Trails Coalition are teaming up for "a day of service for hometown trails and the people who love them." Join us out Croy Canyon from 9am-12pm and give back to some of our beloved trails. Come prepared to learn (instruction will be in both English and Spanish) about trail maintenance and have your hands in the dirt! Our work party will be followed with a community gathering at the Hop Porter Park pavilions from 12pm-3pm. There will be free food sponsored by the Community Table as well as activities and entertainment. The entire day is free and family friendly! Please RSVP for the trail work party HERE. We can't wait to see you there! ¡No podemos esperar a verte allí!
