LLC which provides management consulting services to non-profit organizations that focus on ending homelessness and bringing affordable supportive housing to market. Doug and his partner Stacey relocated to Boise in 2022, enjoy anything outdoors, and when not traveling to experience different cultures live in the North End.

🌟 Meet Michelle Martin, a Treasure Valley native and a valued member of our Board of Trustees at Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity! Learn more about Michelle below. 👇 "I was lucky to grow up in the Treasure Valley, surrounded by our incredible community. My professional experience is in Human Resources at Idaho-based technology companies, where I spend time growing diverse and inclusive workplaces. As I thought about those aspects beyond the corporate environment and in our community, Habitat for Humanity takes an active role in that space. Living in the Treasure Valley my entire life, I have seen the exponential population growth we have experienced. The area growth is incredible in many ways but has had an undeniable impact on homeownership opportunities and affordability. A large percent of our community faces challenges around housing, and the issue is often further compressed for underrepresented groups. Habitat for Humanity’s focus on proactively supporting diverse and complex housing needs is a critical part of our community. In addition, Habit for Humanity’s research on the positive impact safe, affordable, decent housing has on someone’s life from a stability and independence perspective, coupled with the education they provide on responsible homeownership resonates with me personally. As a volunteer board member, I am energized to influence creative solutions for our growing community and create a further sense of belonging locally. While we still have significant initiatives upon us, I am proud to be a part of this globally recognized organization and have such confidence in the work we are committed to in the Treasure Valley."
